~ Clark Gable ~

As we were traveling down the highway, we saw a sign that stated " Exit here to visit the birthplace of Clark Gable ".
Now if your forty or younger, you may not have any idea who that is
unless you've seen " Gone with the Wind ".
Remember Rhett Butler ?
....I don't give a damn ?...does that ring a bell?

This is the house in Cadiz, Ohio where he was born. It's been made into a museum and gift shop.
The museum features may items that once belonged to Gable, including his boyhood sled and 1954 Cadillac.
Adjacent to the museum is the Clark Gable Bed and Breakfast. It features 3 bedrooms...
the " Gable and Lombard " suite, "
It happened one Night " Suite,
and the " Command Decision " Suite.
All decorated like the movie that they are titled for.
The sidewalk has bricks that have been engraved by friends, film stars, and family of Gable.
Clark Gable died in November 1960, the result of a heart attack. He was only 51.

My all time favorite movie!!! I did not realize that he was only 51 when he died. What a loss.
